Working with Heather

"As a first-time author, I was apprehensive about the editing process. My thoughts stirred with numerous questions surrounding that crucial step. Will I find an editor to identify with the heart of my message? Will an editor change my writer’s voice? Will my work be “good enough”? Will the outcome be what I envisioned when starting this project?

Kim Foster was the editor set apart for my journey to publishing—the professional editor with personal connection. She collaborated with me, asking questions and making suggestions to elevate and enhance my work, resulting in the highest quality of writing. Her commitment and compassion toward authors, novice or seasoned, create the relationship every author hopes to find to get their projects across the finish line and into the hands and hearts of readers."

Transforming Tragedy: An Inspiring Story of Changing Painful to Powerful

Heather Meadows shares her incredible story of survival from a motorcycle accident as a seven-year-old child. According to her doctors, she was not supposed to live: her body was 87 percent covered in third-degree burns, and she had a traumatic heart injury. Heather’s story is beyond one of survival; it’s one of hope and encouragement. In our work together, my focus was a smooth read by watching for any hiccups, ensuring smooth transitions, and keeping her writer's voice strong. It was an honor to work with Heather as she brought her polished manuscript to publication.
